Just Don't
Don't look
For beauty
In the weeping leaves
Fairy teardrops on nature's
Virescent cloak
Are lies to scald
And burn wet tongues
And fingers
Don't accept
The proffered hand
Lest blood be let
From cunning blades
Of grass be wary
When through smiling slits
Glint unknown perils
Don't touch
The rushes
Beat them down
Before they engulf
Swaying softly
Traitors all
And all alike
These sweet creations
Don't believe
The cool breeze slyly
Kissing cheeks
With acid lips
Our feathered friends
Are spies abroad
Furry companions
Wish us ill
Don't close
Your eyes
Just don't
