What You
Need
You'll obviously need
suitable clothing as we will be outside for
most of the day, so wrap up warm if it's
cold, and unwrap if it's hot!
Remember: real photographers
love ALL types of weather!
It doesn't matter what
sort of camera you use: digital, compact,
SLR, pinhole, Kodak Brownie!
As you will
learn in the morning...
"Good photography
doesn't start with the camera; it starts
with the person holding it!" |
If you point
your camera at rubbish, you will get a very
realistic photo of... rubbish!
Just make sure you have
full batteries and empty memory cards or a
few rolls of your favourite film.
You will have the chance
to usefully take between 40 and 100 photos
in any two-hour shooting session, depending
on how thoughtful or trigger-happy you are
by nature!

A metropolis is
the chief city of a country, a centre of activity, and Paris
certainly qualifies for this moniker.
There are so
many ways to approach the study of Paris, it would be
impossible for me to choose just one and be fully satisfied.
For this reason I've taken several different angles and will
be building them up concurrently as inspiration strikes.
Below you will
find links to all of the categories, leading to pages of
photos and words on the particular subjects. Choose the
route that interests you most, be it world-famous monuments,
parks, museums, quarters and, indeed, metro stations and
lines!
