Whirly
Coeur
Taken from the steps of Sacré
Coeur, we are looking across the amassed roofs of Paris through the
trees on the hill, listening to buskers singing lame versions of Simon &
Garfunkel songs in the September twilight.
It's an experimental, rather abstract shot, which you should try from
time to time, in this case obtained by... did you guess... twisting the
camera around the lens' axis while pressing the shutter release.
The leaves on the overhanging boughs have become beautifully drippy and
although the horizon isn't exactly horizontal, it doesn't matter too
much and the intriguing mass of lights conjures up images of fairy tale
cities and magical kingdoms. Err, doesn't it?! Play around. |
