Patriotism is as widespread
in France as anywhere, and it'll certainly be on display
tonight, as the French rugby team must win tonight to stay in
their own world cup. They're up against Ireland who aren't the
worst team in the world so it should be interesting.
We're currently witnessing the birth of a media megastar.
Sebastien Chabal is a monster to look at but apparently a gentle
giant in real life. Whatever the case, the papers can't get
enough of him. It's a real orgy of attention and he was on the
front page of two of the three free newspapers I picked up today
to give you an idea.
It's true he's impressive to look at - long wild hair, a big
black beard and a stature around the size of a mature oak...
I'll try and create something with an image of him at some
