 Rainbows
always cheer me up - banal as it sounds, I love all those
colours, which in the end make up the world we live in. I've
always been attracted to and intrigued by the purity of those
six colours - red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple. Some
of my early painting experiments bear evidence to this...
My old science teacher, the
fearsome Mr McGee, gave us the acronym Roy G. Biv, which worked
for me. But I've never been able to quite understand the
intricacies of the Indigo-Violet thang... good old purple was
always good enough for me... one of my fav colours, by the
way...
But they do tend to
creep up on you, these Paris rainbows, and this one is pretty
similar and in all honesty in exactly the same position as the
rainbow I saw with the sheep that I shared with you earlier this
year. (whisper: it's a poster advertising something, like the
sheep one is, but who cares...?) |
