A lovely portrait of a friend's son
- taken at the legendary 'Colonnes de Burrel'.
Like 'em or loathe 'em, you have to
admit they make a great photographic backdrop, even if a few of them
need a bit of a touch up.
I've placed him firmly on the right
- quite obvious, but correct, I think, given the strictness of both his
pure white jacket and the rectitudinal sternness of the black and white
columns.
In the middle of a pic this
straight on pose would be a disaster, but here, thrown off centre, and
echoed by the receding columns it works very well.
His head's also nicely framed by a
couple of columns, and the stripes on his t-shirt contrast pleasantly
with the vertical stripes of the pillars.
He's wearing a great expression
too! One cool dude! Nice one... |
